October 2011

October 2011 will be remembered for many historical moments.

It is also Breast Cancer awareness month. Remember you have four days left to order my book “Growing Up in the Rockies and have $1:00 donated to Breast cancer. I will donate that locally as we have a group that is sponsoring free mammograms for those who can’t afford them.

Here we are and it is only October 6th. This is a month that many bring many surprises both good and bad. Let us not forget to respect those who lose someone and are less fortunate.

Second was the sad passing of Steven Job the founder of the Apple an Icon in our world of technology who has impacted each and every one of us whether directly or indirectly.

Again thanks to the public for respecting the family and the privacy while they deal with the loss of a wonderful family member.

First was  the case of Amanda Knox who was released from prison and thanks to all who are respecting her privacy and giving her and her family the time that they need to move forward.

I think what is most important here is to remember and keep this case in perspective that there wasn’t any evidence that could justify a prison sentence. This is a situation that no one would ever want to face especially in a foreign country.
