Seven days till Christmas

The sun is out bright.

No snow in the air.

The wind isn’t blowing it’s such a delight.

But a hat you’ll need to mess up your hair.

It looks nice and warm but the truth be told,

It’s chilly outside and you get very cold.

Christmas is coming but no sign of snow,

It looks like it’s hiding somewhere we don’t know.

Will it be white for Christmas night?

The weather man says there’s no snow in sight.

A warning to one and a warning to all.

Be sure what you buy will take care if it calls.

For after Christmas there won’t shovels to be found.

No Hats, or mittens when you fall on the ground.

The snow is coming but we don’t know when.

So get prepared now and be ready then.

The calmness is here for this time of year.

But it will change suddenly when storms are near.

Christmas will be here in seven days,

that’s a fact and there’s nothing left to say.

Merry Christmas to all be in sunshine or snow.

Happy New Years to everyone young and old.

May the blessings of Christ fill your heart,

may families be together and never apart.

So with Love in my heart and Christ at my side,

I send you my   Holiday  Season tide.

Today I will keep this blog very short.

For my family is sharing a day not apart.

I watched and I listened to carols last night.

Tears rolled down my face as I felt in my heart.

There are so many blessed carols to hear.

But there is one special one I have always hold dear.

So today as we enter the last week before Christmas.

I wish for you to think about this one and its meaning.

So I leave you today with “Oh Holy Night!”

Please keep the true meaning of Christmas in Sight.

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Til He appear’d and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! O hear the angels’ voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night Divine.
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here come the wise men from Orient land.
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friend.
He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend!
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother;
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever,
His power and glory evermore proclaim.
His power and glory evermore proclaim.
 God Bless You all. Be safe and enjoy your day 🙂
