Six days till Christmas

HURRAY HURRAY HURRAY!!!!!!!!

Have you done your last trip to Santa?

Have you finished your shopping?

Is your house decorated?

Is your shopping for groceries done?

Did you remember the wrapping paper, scotch tape, labels and bows?

What about that unexpected visitor or present?

Do you have something as a quick gift exchange?

Are you finished or ready for those Christmas parties?

Are you passing presents on from last year?

Remember not to pass them back to who gave them to you…. OOOPPS!

Have you checked your work schedule ? Do you get off early Christmas Eve… Do you get an extra day off this year?

What about company coming to stay over night? Are you ready for them?

Have you planned for the unexpected?

What about the vacation time for the kids? Are you prepared for that?

Do you know what day they get out of school and when they return?

How about the bank schedules, the government building schedules, and the stores? Have you checked their hours? Don’t be caught off guard.

What about the church programs and extra services?

What restaurants are open?

What community activities are taking place?

Have you schedule your time for a break?

Remember this is a season for the entire family to enjoy.

Not just the young, don’t forget the elderly. It’s a time for joy and peace for all mankind.

Thank You Lord the Troops are headed home finally.

May this be a year of peace without war.

The song I am reminded of as I sit her is  Silent Night. So I am going to leave you with that thought for the day.

Silent Night

Silent night holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia;
Christ the Savior, is born
Christ the Savior, is born.

Silent night holy night
Son of God, love’s pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

May your day be filled with Joy and Peace
