Coping With a Disability!

In the next few weeks I will be addressing how does one cope with a disability.

First there is the situation of being born with a disability and finally understanding what the disability is and what it means for ordinary life. It also means dealing with emotions, frustration, anger, guilt, acceptance, etc.

Second there is the situation of being normal and becoming disabled and learning to not be able to do what you have always been able to do. How does one cope with those changes dealing with emotions of frustration, anger, guilt, acceptance, etc.

I would be happy to have questions and input from my readers as I begin this not only personal but professional journey. It will take me the better part of a month to write this.

I am not going to read or do research. I am strictly going to write from my personal experiences both as a professional and as a disabled person. I hope you will follow me on this journey as I start and add to it.
